how do you want it all to feel…

This exercise came from Danielle LaPorte’s burning questions series. You can find the original post here. (You can also find a spectacular response to Danielle’s post from Starla here!)

This is how I want it all to feel…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I want waking up to feel like that first glorious inhale after having been underwater.
I want my days to feel like that one song (you know the one) that always moves you to tears with its meaning.
I want mealtime with my family to feel like a reunion of hearts.
I want my body to feel like silk in a strong breeze, fluid and graceful (like this video).
I want my friendships to feel like toasting marshmallows for s’mores around a cozy campfire.
I want my marriage to feel like not just a meeting of bodies… but also of minds, hearts, and souls.
I want my nervous system to feel like floating down a spring-fed river on a hot summer day.
I want my neighborhood to feel like a web of interconnected hearts.
I want my home to feel like filling a bucket from a super-deep, pure well.
I want my life to feel like watching the sun setting into the Gulf of Mexico.
I want making money to feel like opening the perfect gift from someone I love.
I want paying bills to feel like bowing deeply in respect and gratitude.
I want giving to feel like receiving.
I want laughter to feel like wind chimes in a gentle thunderstorm.
I want my end-of-day to feel like a whispered ‘thank-you’, from the heart, on a long exhale.
I want challenges to feel like climbing a beautiful stone staircase hidden in the forest.
I want writing to feel like sipping cold water from a red licorice straw.
I want creating to feel like a fountain of joy-bubbles.
I want connecting to feel like seeing a dear friend after a prolonged absence.
I want my heart to feel like a white sandy beach on Anna Maria Island.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You know what to do, chicky… spill it.
